Welcome to the on-line version of Proverbial Wisdom™. We have created an amazing simulation of the game that you can play to get an understanding of what all the excitement is about!

The on-line game consists of 25 actual questions or challenges from the game. Fakes? Nope, nothing but the real McCoys here. Each game card will remain on the screen for 60 seconds and then the answer or solution will be displayed for 15 seconds. If you get impatient and don't want to cool your heels, you can press the continue link on each page. To make this a most pleasant experience- there is no scoring so you do not have to fear being taken to task due to a few wrong answers.

There are three basic types of cards that you will be shown. (there would have been four, but we didn't want to get the food group people upset with us) Here is how to work with each:

Definition: You will be shown a proverb and you must decide which of the choices either best defines the proverb or explains its origin.

Drawing: These cards illustrate a proverb graphically and contain a hint line under the picture. Each line represents one word, and some words are provided for you.

Sketch: When you pull a sketch card you will be shown a proverb. You must then draw a picture so your teamate(s) can guess what the proverb is. Please do not draw on your screen. Use paper instead. Should you ignore this warning and need to change an answer, we do recommend White-Out™.
